When the first generation Apple iPad was launched back in 2010, the only case available was manufactured by Apple itself, the iPad Smart cover. Today, there are well over a 100 different iPad cases available for all the different models including, but not limited to the iPad Air and iPad Mini with Retina Display. The majority of people that buy an iPad on Black Friday or Cyber Monday naturally want their expensive tablet protected and it’s no wonder that iPad Air and Mini cases also go on sale during the Cyber Monday week.
One of the major dilemmas iPad deal hunters face this year is whether to go with an iPad Mini 2 or Mini 3. They are very similar models with just a few differences. For most shoppers this year, spending the extra $100 on a Mini 3 may not be justifiable considering these minor differences. The availability of the Champagne Gold color and the fingerprint sensor are the two major differences between the two models. “Whether those features are worth the extra 100 bucks will totally depend on individual taste” says Casey Donalds, a co-author of the above Apple iPad Black Friday Sales.
For years, Android phones have shipped with displays in expansive, 5-inch-ish sizes, but Apple had insisted on the necessity of a small screen for one-handed operation. The iPhone 5S, while powerful, hit a wall in viewing room: its 4-inch screen was among the smallest on the market, and, frankly, I found it limiting. There rare many cheap ipad mini cases on the market, where are you to get? Apple now has two larger iPhones: one big, the other even bigger. The iPhone 6 sports a 4.7-inch screen, while the iPhone 6 Plus goes full "phablet" with a 5.5-inch display. Compared to earlier iPhones, both of the new models boast thinner bodies, ship with faster A8 processors, slightly improved cameras, speedier Wi-Fi and LTE cellular data, better voice quality if you're using voice-over-LTE, and -- except in the entry-level models -- more onboard storage. And like all current iPhones, these are running iOS 8.1; it's a far less revolutionary update than iOS 7 was, but it adds some nice improvements and customization options, including notification widgets, replaceable keyboards, a new Health app and Apple Pay.
According to the report, the new iPad mini 4 will feature the A8X processor found inside of today's iPad Air 2. AnandTech reports that the A8X has a 128-bit memory bus, this means that the platform will require two memory chips in order to maximize its full memory bandwidth potential. This would strongly suggest that Apple will move to 2GB of memory in the iPad mini 4, as it did with the iPad Air 2 this year. In addition to the specification upgrade, the report claims that the iPad mini 4 will feature an industrial design that, to borrow MacRumors' words, "more closely resembles Apple's latest iPad Air." In other words, it should get thinner and lighter. For a small tablet, that's always a good thing. You may interested on: samsung galaxy s5 cases
