When i was still a kid, in late 1980s, i like japanese comics as well. my first comic book is Dragon Ball (ドラゴンボール) and Saint Seiya (聖闘士星矢).
Due to some import/export issues, there were not so much official Japanese comics on the market, so the quality of those comic books are very bad.
But several years later, in the mid of 1990s, i can buy official Japanese comics such as Dr. Slump (Dr.スランプ), City Hunter (シティーハンター), Doraemon (ドラえもん), DNA², and Fūma no Kojirō (風魔の小次郎).
in late 1990s, pocket comics are famous in Beijing. Slam Dunk (スラムダンク), Crayon Shin-chan (クレヨンしんちゃん), Shadow Samurai Tokugawa Ieyasu (影武者徳川家康), and one of my favorite is Rurouni Kenshin (るろうに剣心).
At that time after i finish reading るろうに剣心, i thought there would be no more comics that i would ever wanted to read anymore. るろうに剣心 is one of the best story and drawing of all the comics i have ever read.
and perhaps it's a coincidence, after るろうに剣心 i have no time to read other comics and no more comics that attract me to buy them.
for the comics, i like the stories about Sengoku period (戦国時代), samurai(侍), Bushidō (武士道), and/or kendo (剣道). These are the most attractive contents to me. Perhaps i don't have too much opportunities to see these comics in the book stores since i am in the Netherlands, altough i know there are more and more better and best comics out there, i think i cannot find the same passion as when i was reading るろうに剣心.
Last time when i was in Paris, in a perfume/makeup shop saw that the most popular skin care for men in France is Dior Homme. Shiseido is the second most popular men's skin care brand.
I did use some of the skin cares that sell in the Netherlands, such as Biotherm Homme, Lab, Clarins, Lancome, Zirh, Clinique, Nivea, Gorgio Armani,Skin Minerals, and Shiseido Men.
The worst experience is with Clarins. perhaps i'm just not fit this product.
The most impressive experience is with Lab. it makes my skin smoothy at the first time. but stilldon't have the feeling of 'this is the one'.
I use Shiseido Men for about 4 years. At the beginning i can't see or feel any difference. but the longer i use, the more adopted to my skin, i think. Although no 'effective' result, Shiseido keeps my skin looks the same all these 4 yours... (or because of my lifestyle?) until Gorgio Armani enters men's skin care market...
Gorgio Armani Skin Minerals is the most latest brand on men's skin care in the Netherlands (in 2008). Although some of the products in the product line is a little bit cheaper than Zirh Platinum (in US$)... but at least i didn't see where i can buy Zirh Platinum in the cities near me (next i will check it out in Amsterdam),
Since i'm getting older... i should take more care of my skin... especially on face...
Shiseido Men line keeps my skin unchanged for four years, hope Gorgio Armani Skin Mineral could be better.
