大相撲十一月場所の中日 (なかび) である令和5年11月19日 (日曜日) には、十一月場所の新序出世披露 (しんじょしゅっせひろう) が行われました。
On Sunday, November 19, Reiwa 5 (2023), which was the eighth and middle day of the Ozumo November basho, the induction ceremony (新序出世披露) for the new rikishi of the November basho was held.
十一月場所の新序出世力士4人の四股名、出身地、所属部屋は以下の通りです。
The following are the four new rikishi's ringnames, home countries or prefectures, and stables.
旭海雄 (きょくかいゆう) (モンゴル、大島 [おおしま] 部屋)
Kyokukaiyu (Mongolia; Oshima Stable [大島部屋])
長谷川 (はせがわ) (青森県、安治川 [あじがわ] 部屋)
Hasegawa (Aomori Prefecture; Ajigawa Stable [安治川部屋])
前田 (まえだ) (沖縄県、安治川部屋)
Maeda (Okinawa Prefecture; Ajigawa Stable [安治川部屋])
大志山 (だいしやま) (東京都、立浪 [たつなみ] 部屋)
Daishiyama (Tokyo Metropolis; Tatsunami Stable [立浪部屋])
儀式の最後に、土俵上の行司さんが以下の言葉を述べました。
At the end of the ceremony, the gyoji (行司: referee) who was in the dohyo made the following remarks.
「これに控えおります力士儀 (りきしぎ) にござります。只今までは番付外 (ばんづけがい) に取らせおきましたるところ、当場所 (とうばしょ) 日々成績優秀につき、本日より番付面に差し加え (さしくわえ) おきまする間 (あいだ)、以後相変わらずご贔屓 (ひいき)、お引き立てのほど、ひとえに願い上げ奉ります (ねがいあげたてまつります)。」
"Those sitting in front are the new rikishi. They were outside the rikishi ranks until now, but they are added to the ranks today because they performed well in this basho. We sincerely and fervently ask you to encourage and support them in their sumo career."
若者が角界 (かくかい: 相撲の世界) に入ってくるのを見るのはいつも嬉しいです。新力士の今後の健闘を期待します。
It is always nice to see young men enter the world of sumo. I hope the new rikishi will try hard and do well.
