Lesotho has a population of 2.07 million (2008) and its capital is Maseru.
首都マセルは約２２万人の人々が住んでいる最大のそして唯一の都市です。
The capital city of Maseru is the largest and only city with about 220,000 inhabitants.

レソトの面積は３万K㎡で日本の１３分の１の広さです。おもな産業は農耕と牧畜です。
Lesotho covers an area of 30,000 km2, one thirteenth the size of Japan. The main industries are agriculture and cattle raising.
ダイヤモンドが産出されますが鉱物資源に乏しいので南アフリカに出稼ぎに出ている人が多いようです。
Lesotho produces diamonds, but it lacks mineral resources, so many people go to South Africa to work.
