I woke up this morning at 6:30am, hearing the sounds of shovelling.
In the street, yesterday's snow became ice.
So it was very slippery.
It snowed heavily in 12 years in Yokohama,
in 7 years in Tokyo.
Today the weather is fine but only the highest temperature
is only 5-7 Celsius. North wind is not too windy.
A news programs said, In this heavy snow,
two people died, one was injured heavily,
1062 people were injured.
(Until 7pm today. During two days.)
I saw on TV news about a coming-on-age celemony this morning.
It was shocked for me that I saw some young girls wore
a kimono as an old style traditonal, the highest ranked prostitute(Oiran) wore!!
They wore the kimonos to show their shoulders.
Young girls wanted to show themselves more different and remarkable from others.
Some girls put the big real flowers on their head.
I think this is beautiful and acceptable.
Oiran... hmm I've got a culture shock...
