Tiger shark spotted off Waikiki again, warning signs posted

For a second time in three days, shark warning signs have been posted along an area of Waikiki beach.
Ocean Safety officials say a 10-foot Tiger shark was spotted in the channel at Kaisers around 1:40 pm. The surf spot is just off shore from the Hilton Hawaiian Village.
Ocean Safety posted warning signs in the area and verbal warnings were given on shore and by a rescue watercraft (jet ski).
Ocean Safety advises all beach goers to stay out of the water at this time, affected beaches, Ala Moana: Magic Island Lagoon, Waikiki at Duke Paoa Kahanamoku Beach Park.
On Sunday, shark signs at Kaimana Beach were removed following the sighting of a 10-foot tiger shark on Saturday.
Officials scanned the water on Sunday and saw no sign of the shark.
