気が付くと部屋は真っ暗だった。　　巨峰とブルーベリーを買いに出る。　　雨上がりはいつでも気分が洗わるようで散歩は逃さない、天空が沈痛な壮烈さを充たして輝き飛んでいく成就した夕焼けの寂寥は見られなかったが満足した。　　掃きだし窓を開け暗闇の外をみたら、灯りの中に鼻白チビちゃんそっくりの仔猫が見えた。　　驚いた丸い目とあった途端『ガサ！、ガサ！、……』と枯れ木を潜って遠ざかってしまった。　　
　

♯♭♪ (*^.^*) ： 　Paul Bley 1 2 3 / Live at the Hillcrest Club (1958) 　　ロス・アンゼルスのクラブのライヴ、人々の賑わいが背景にある。　　Klactoveesedstene（11:45）、C・パーカーの曲、速いテンポのバップ、挑みかかるようなメロディー、O・コールマンの生き生きした・溌剌・思い切りの良いブローイングは爽快、P・ブレイはオフマイクに聞こえるが軽快なプレイ。　 　Ｄ・チェリーは、一音にと音に力があり、点描的な放射だが既にフリー・フォーム、Ｃ・ヘイデンは、速いテンポでグングン推進する。　　一撃でO・コールマンのブローイング、ホーンとのユニゾンも絶妙。　　I Remember Harlem（4:50）、Ｒ・エルドリッチの曲、P・ブレイのピアノで始まる、ブラスのダイナミックなユニゾンで終わる。　　The Blessing（10:30）、O・コールマンの曲、憂愁と湧き上がる希望の詰まった、魅力的なメロディー、O・コールマンの伸び伸びしたブローイングはとても気持がいい。　　Ｄ・チェリーの未だ自己のスタイルが未完だと思わせるプレイも興味深い。　　Ｐ・ブレイの若々しいプレイもやはり興味深い。　　O・コールマンのメロディーメーカーの才を充分知ることができる。　　Free（5:30）、O・コールマンの曲、圧倒的なO・コールマンの放射に瞠目する。　　 Ｄ・チェリーは、聴くものに不思議なインパクトを与える、その片鱗を既に示している。　　Ｂ・ヒギンズの宮殿構築に感心する。　　O・コールマンの壮絶なカデンツァで幕。　　P.
