The Anti-theft Principle of Chip Key

Why should car keys use chip? This is due to car electronic anti-theft system communicates with engine-control computer. The engine is only allowed to activate when the code of key clip is identified. That is means if the clip is damaged or missed, you car would not be able to activate. The type of car key chip

Basically key chip is divided into 3 kinds, namely, fiPDFCreatorxed code, rolling code and encrypted code.

Fixed code is fixed and combined by numbers and letters. And the code will not change when engine is activated.

Rolling code: Each key has a different code, and each time engine is activated, the code will change. Only the key producers know the program of the key.

Encrypted code is used in the latest chip and chip controller. The key chip is equipped with internal program, which is used to decrypt encrypted information.
