In these days there are many cases that people being excluded because of their gender. It happens often when the job is professional, which is a problem.
It is often said that there are different strenths and weaknesses between men and wemen so it is natural that men and wemen have different jobs. However, when someone wants to have a job, he should be judged by their personal ability, and gender doesn't matter. Generaly in Japan, leader is mostly men. Though I did it many times and it had no problem. As this indicats, there is not much difference between men and wemen as it is said. There may be some jobs that is fisicaly difficult for men or women to do, but if an individual has enough power to do that, they should be accepted.
Excluding someone because of it's gender also causes another trouble. Lack of workers. The population is getting smaller and smaller in Japan and other developed countries. This means that working population is also diminishing. On the other hand, there are many old people that the young should help. This will end up making an unbalanced society, and the government will have financial problem. To prevent this, it is necessary that women work in many areas. The government are encouraging women working in many kinds of areas. Excluding women from work is encouraging social issues getting more bad.
