my sister is a hair stylist and recommended i get a chi straightener. i have had chi straightener for almost 3 yearsnow and it is just as wonderful today as it was the day i bought it. the noly time my hair has not come out pperfectly silky and flat is because i have gone too long without a haircut. that is my fault, not the fault of the chi straightener.
