What? What’s this? While reading the above article, I have started hearing voices. Is it my imagination? Just in case, I’d better write it down.
“ Beloved comrades, Congratulations for your ongoing diligent efforts. By all means please carry on your passionate “Don’t Allow War” and “Down with Abe” campaign throughout Japan. Article 9 of the Constitution must be saved at all costs. We are counting on you. This Abe administration keeps pressing us on our most vulnerable points and must be brought down as soon as possible.
Japan is the only country out of the 193 member nations of the United Nations to have declared that it will not exercise the right to collective self-defense. The Abe administration has at last subverted this position. From our perspective, this is a deeply troubling state of affairs.
Fortunately, however, Japan cannot exercise the right to collective self-defense based only on a cabinet-level reinterpretation of the constitution. That’s because there is no applicable law. This current situation must be maintained at all costs. Whatever it takes, Japan must be prevented from concluding military alliances with surrounding countries and acquiring the capability to exercise the right to collective self-defense.
Otherwise, we will be unable to carry out the most vital initial strategy for an invasion of Japan, a naval blockade of the routes through Southeast Asia to choke off the supply of oil and other strategic resources and bring down the Japanese economy. And if Japan concludes an alliance with a nuclear power in Asia, meaning that our attack on Japan could include being attacked from the rear with nuclear weapons, we will have much greater difficulty carrying out our territorial expansionist ambitions.
What? The Abe administration is supposedly intending to fight in the Middle East to assist the United States? If there is any evidence that that is true, then you, dear comrades, must immediately stop your protests against the exercise of the collective right of self-defense. To the extent that the leading units of the self-defense forces are deployed to the Middle East, the defenses of Japan will be weakened, giving us the perfect chance. No, the Abe administration’s target is very clearly us. Dear comrades, this is something you should be able to realize if you would just use your heads.
In any event, carry on, our comrades in Japan. In the near future when the “Japan Autonomous Region” is set up, we promise to welcome you comrades who are already promoting our world view as the interim leadership. For at least a year, this should be very lucrative for you. Thus, stand firm and persevere in the struggle.
What? “What happens after that?” Those who have betrayed their home country Japan are bound to betray us in the future, too. We have dealt with betrayal and bloodbaths for thousands of years! Traitors must be purged. You should put a little more effort into your study of history.
What? You say you sincerely believe your “Don’t Allow War” and “Down with Abe” movement is for the good of Japan and the Japanese people? Understood. In other words, you are true patriots who are concerned about Japan and at the same time true f●●ls.
We understand very well. And we have no hesitation in saying that in the “Japan Autonomous Region” governed by us, you will be the people of least use to us. Put your minds at ease. You will be dealt with precisely the same as the rare true patriots in our own country.
Leave the future of Japan entirely up to us. Be assured that everything will be fine. We have already deployed a large number of very capable young people as foreign students. They are fluent in the Japanese language and are steadily acquiring the advanced knowledge and technology of Japan. They should be able to administer the Japan Autonomous Region without any problem.
In addition, we have already completed preparations to send in a large number of single men, so there will be no more concerns about declining birthrates. What? You say Japanese women don’t want to have children? Why should their wishes be any concern of ours? Are you f●●ls?
Our biggest worry is that these capable foreign exchange students will become pro-Japanese sympathizers, but things should be fine as long as we have their families under our control. What? Highly skilled foreigners can now bring their families to Japan? The restrictions have been relaxed recently? No doubt this is a ploy to steal away our hostages. Yes, the Abe administration must be overthrown without further delay. We are counting on you, our comrades in the “Don’t Allow War” and “Down with Abe” movement, to carry on. ”
This is what I was hearing. And by the way, I couldn’t find one Japanese national flag, the symbol of Japanese patriotism, in the video of this demonstration. Maybe that’s why I heard these voices.
Here’s hoping that this is indeed just my imagination.
