1986年（28年も前）から目黒で営業しているインド料理のお店があります。最初は目黒3丁目にあり、目黒通りに面していました。当時、友人のマリ・クリスティーヌさんに連れて行ってもらい、その店がお気に入りになりました。
店はほどなくして目黒駅前に移転し、以来ずっと営業しています。昨日お店の前を通ったら「食べ放題」と書いてある看板が目に止まり、久しぶりにインド料理を食べたくなりました。
よく見たら、食べ放題なのはご飯とナンだけですが、どうせ体重を気にしている今、おかわりは頼みませんし、入ってしまいました。
日替わりランチにしましたが、いつも通り大変おいしかったです。ちょうど食事を終えた2時40分頃、歯医者から携帯に電話があって、2時半の予約を忘れていたことに気が付きました。
慌てて歯医者のところに駆けつけましたが、皆さん、おそらく歯医者に行く直前はインド料理を食べないでしょうね。本来なら私もそうです。でも、幸いにして治療はうまく行きました。せっかく手帳を持っていても、朝見ておかないと意味がないですね！
There is an Indian restaurant which has been operating since 1986 (28 years ago).
Originally, it was located on Meguro-dori around Meguro 3-chome. My friend, Mari Christine Tsunoda took me there once, and I fell in love with the place.
Soon after, it moved to a location in front of the station and has been operating there since. Yesterday as I walked by, I saw their sign saying "All You Can Eat Lunch" and immediately felt an appetite for Indian food.
Upon closer observation, I realized that "All You Can Eat" applies only to rice and naan, but since I am trying to lose weight I wouldn't ask for a second helping anyway, so I went in and had the daily special.
As usual, the food was very good. As I was finishing my meal around 2:40 p.m., I got a call on my cell phone from the dentist. I had forgotten my 2:30 appointment, so I immediately rushed to the dentist's office.
I'm guessing you would not eat Indian food before going to the dentist. Usually I wouldn't either, but fortunately things went well with the dentist. I was reminded again that it really doesn't do any good to have an appointment book if you don't look at it in the morning!
