今日、お昼にソルトレイクシティのど真ん中にあるこのお店へ、皆（20人以上）でラーメンを食べに行きました。私はとんこつラーメンにしました。
Today, we all (about 20 people) went for lunch to this restaurant smack dab in the middle of Salt Lake City for ramen. I ordered tonkotsu ramen.
麺は美味しかったですが、スープは特に美味しくも不味くもありませんでした。値段は$8.50 + チップだから、安くはないですが、そんなに高くもないです。要は、普通でした。近頃アメリカでラーメンの人気が急上昇中なので、アメリカ人が何を「らーめん」と言っているのか確かめたかったのです。
The noodles were good, but the soup was unremarkable. At $8.50 plus tip, it doesn’t seem too expensive, but it’s not cheap either. It was just normal. The popularity of ramen in the United States is on a steep rise of late, so I wanted to see for myself what Americans call “Ramen.”
