【おかしな英語】
I’d like to have a dinner with you this evening.
（きょうの夕方、お食事したいと思いますが…）
昼食（lunch）、夕食（dinner）などの前には、普通、a, the をつけません。
従って、I’d like to have dinner with ～. となります。
しかし、「軽い夕食」とか、「すばらしい食事（夕食）」というように、形容詞を使って表現する場合は、a, the をつけます。たとえば---
We had a light supper at 7 o’clock.
（７時に軽い夕食を食べました）
(7) 注文するとき
I’ll have this, please.
（＜メニューを差しながら＞この料理にします）
I’d like the cheese omelette, toast and coffee.
（チーズオムレツとトーストとコーヒーにします）
(8) 注文した料理が来ないとき
Excuse me. My iced tea hasn’t come yet.
（すいません、アイスティーがまだ来ていません）
(9) ウエーターに依頼するとき
Pardon me. I didn’t get a fork.
（すいません。フォークが来ていません）
This glass is cracked. May I have another one, please?
（グラスが割れています。換えてください）
I dropped my spoon. Would you bring me another one, please?
（スプーンを落としました。別のスプーンを持ってきてください）
May I have some water, please?
（お水をいただけますか？）
(10) 注文した料理が間違っているとき
Excuse me. I don’t think we ordered this.
Excuse me. I think this order is wrong.
（これは、注文した料理ではありません）
(11) 食事を終えて帰るとき
Check please.
May I have the check, please?
（お勘定をお願いします）
Can I use a credit card?
Do you take credit cards?
（クレジットカードを使えますか？）
