マタイの福音書16:1-12 Matthew 16:1-12
1 ある日、パリサイ人やサドカイ人たちがイエスのところに来て、天からのすばらしい奇跡を見せてほしいと頼みました。メシヤだと自称するイエスの主張がほんとうかどうかを、試してやろうと思ったのです。
1 The Pharisees and Sadducees came to Jesus and tested him by asking him to show them a sign from heaven.
2-3 イエスの返事はこうでした。「あなたがたは、天気を予測するのが得意です。夕焼けになると、『明日は晴れだ』と言うし、朝焼けを見ると、『今日は荒れ模様だ』と言います。そんなに上手に空模様を見分けるのに、これほどはっきりした時代の兆候が読み取れないのですか。
2 He replied, “When evening comes, you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red,’
3 and in the morning, ‘Today it will be stormy, for the sky is red and overcast.’ You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times.[a]
4 今の邪悪な不信の時代は、不思議なしるしが天に現れることばかり求めています。しかし、ヨナの身に起こった奇跡以外に神からの証拠は与えられません。」そしてイエスは、彼らを残したまま去って行かれました。
4 A wicked and adulterous generation looks for a sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah.” Jesus then left them and went away.
5 一行は湖の向こう岸へ渡りましたが、食べ物を持って来るのを忘れていました。
5 When they went across the lake, the disciples forgot to take bread.
6 イエスは、「パリサイ人とサドカイ人のパン種に気をつけなさい」と忠告しましたが、
6 “Be careful,” Jesus said to them. “Be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”
7 弟子たちはパンを忘れてきたので、自分たちをしかっておられるのだろうと勘違いしました。
7 They discussed this among themselves and said, “It is because we didn’t bring any bread.”
8 それに気づいたイエスは言われました。「ああ、信仰の薄い人たちよ。なぜそんなに、食べ物を持って来なかったことを気に病むのですか。
8 Aware of their discussion, Jesus asked, “You of little faith, why are you talking among yourselves about having no bread?
9 まだわからないのですか。五つのパンを五千人に食べさせた時、幾かごものパンが余ったではありませんか。
9 Do you still not understand? Don’t you remember the five loaves for the five thousand, and how many basketfuls you gathered?
10 また四千人に食べさせた時も、たくさんのパンが余りました。
10 Or the seven loaves for the four thousand, and how many basketfuls you gathered?
11 パンのことなど問題ではないことが、どうしてわからないのですか。もう一度、はっきり言いましょう。わたしは、『パリサイ人とサドカイ人のパン種に気をつけなさい』と言ったのです。」
11 How is it you don’t understand that I was not talking to you about bread? But be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”
12 それでやっと弟子たちにも、パン種とは、パリサイ人やサドカイ人のまちがった教えのことだとわかったのです。
12 Then they understood that he was not telling them to guard against the yeast used in bread, but against the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.
●「まだわからないのですか」「〇〇〇ではありませんか。」
〇金のことを気にする、食べ物のことを気にする
気にする：足りないのではないかと気になる
祈って助けられなかったことがない
気にする必要がないから気にするな
〇本当に気にするべきものは
イエスが言われること、イエスご自身
何を言われているか、私に求められているのか
●イエスが求められていること
〇パリサイ人のまちがった教えに気をつける
今まで正しいと思っていたこと、間違っているとは思わなかったこと
「ほんとに〇〇か？」の自問
【適用】気にする必要がないものを気にしない
〇気にすることの問題というより、心配に支配されないように
特に、金・衣服・住居など暮らし向き
「パンのみで生きるのではない」
解決されてきたではないか
