HOW OUR TEMPERATURE (& HUMIDITY) CHAMBERS WORK

Temperature Control System

 

Heating: The temperature inside the temperature chamber for sale is rapidly increased via electric heaters (such as resistance wires). A temperature sensor (e.g., PT100 platinum resistor) monitors the temperature in real-time and feeds the data back to a controller (such as a PID controller) to adjust the heating power.

 

Refrigeration: Mechanical compression refrigeration cycles are mostly adopted, consisting of a compressor, condenser, expansion valve, and evaporator. The refrigerant absorbs heat in the evaporator to lower the temperature inside the chamber.

 

Air Circulation: A built-in fan forces air flow to ensure uniform temperature inside the chamber and avoid local temperature differences.

Humidification

 

Steam humidification: Water is heated electrically to generate steam, which is directly injected into the chamber (fast but high in energy consumption). A self-developed humidification bucket is used.
