Last winter, before the dust had even settled on their film that would go on to win Movie of the Year from both SNOWBOARDER and TWSnow, the eight riders that comprise Deja Vu were back in the streets, beginning the process all over again for their new project. In the past year, Louif Paradis, Will Lavigne, Nic Sauve, Alex Cantin, Phil Jacques, Laurent-Nicolas Paquin, Ben Bilocq, and Frank April traveled across the globe in search of fresh snow and open mountains as well as some of the largest, most unique, and most daunting urban architecture. With Deja Vu, this group of French Canadians pooled their collective talent and provided a new benchmark of street snowboarding; everything was proper, everything was done with style, everything was gnarly–and now, with their new movie, Encore, they are set to do it again. The Encore teaser created by Deja Director Hayden Rensch is three minutes of footage that will make you wish it was September and time for the full film to premiere. But since there’s still a full winter for these guys to film and considering the tricks that are leaked in this teaser, we can only imagine what will be in the movie come fall. Enjoy.
