先日、知ってるけど普段使ってこなかった使ってみようと思う英語の単語に出会いました。
forgoは「〜なしでやる: do without that」という意味があります。
give up somethingに近い感じがしますね。
We had to forgo our lunch to join the calling from 12:30pm.
A landowner eventually forwent a pay raise.
With limited time we have, had better forgo a discussion on budget.
We would like to forgo excess PMO intervention into study team on small detail.
普段あまり使ってない表現ですが、今後は使っていきます( ^ω^ )
