Couldn't say I was not excited when I flew to Tasmania and met up with S and M after about 2 years?

M picked me up and we went to the next town while waiting for S to arrive. That's also when I first found out how intense the sun really is in Tas. Like the patch of exposed skin between my jeans and shoes was burnt just by walking around without sunblock intense.

We thought it was about time that S's plane arrived so we drove to the airport, but she was not replying to our messages yet. Then we saw it. We saw a Jetstar plane land right infront of our car on the way to the airport. Yea, she's arrived.

Picked her up and we went to the lavender farm before they close.

I had a beautiful image of rows of beautiful purple lavender as far as the eye could see before we reached. But when we got out of the car, Errr......

where did all the pretty purple lavender go?! what is this?!

damn, luckily they were still selling the lavender ice cream otherwise it would have been a disappointment from the start (`ε´)

The next day was the hardest part of the whole trip. We went to Mount Cradle.

When we got there, I put on like 3 layers of sunblock before we actually started the hike. The scenery was really pretty, if only the weather was abit cooler it would have been perfect....

Since we walked to the boatshed we thought we might as well finish the entire trail so we can take photos from the large boulder across the boatshed. Boo boo......BIG MISTAKE!

It took us almost 3 hours and a million "are we there yet?" before we reached that big boulder. We should have just backtracked and walked the shorter way instead tsk.

3 hours under the unforgiving sun

Then the next day we drove down to Hobart. I have no idea why but I'm always sitting on the side of the car where the sunlight shines in. It was SO HOT and BURNING

We stopped by a few old towns on the way

Ate a scallop pie and vanilla slice (the vanilla slice was so good!), went to put our bags down at Y's house and went to walk around. Her house was near the city so we went to get bubble tea, and went for dinner at this nice italian restaurant M's friend recommended. Their pasta was good! We should have ordered two plates....

On sat we went to Mount Wellington in the morning first! We wanted to take a photo of the clouds swirling below the mountain with the clear blue sky above. But, the clouds were just too much, so we just took a few photos in the clouds and went to the Salamanca market. We bought tempura mushrooms, scallop pie, some chilli ciders and i think we were tired for the day.

S's friend had recommend us a place to eat salmon sashimi so we ordered a platter for $22.

なんと!!

信じられない。。。やはり詐欺だわ

Turned out we were at the wrong place. It was the place next door OTL

500g of sashimi salmon for $15. This is more like it!

Then we met up with Y and a few of their friends for dinner.

The last day in Hobart Y and her bf took us to Bruny island. We stopped for raspberry ice cream, honey, chocolate, cheese, and this

Being surrounded by friends and good food, it was a fun trip

Next round the two maids will be coming to Sydney

Before that we have to go back to our sirs and madams

Now I'm starting to plan for our trip to hokkaido in april

WHEEEEEEEEE!!!!

The more i plan the more places i'm adding to our itinerary, we have to keep up!
