Just when the year is about to end, many things happened to show that the bad streak has yet to end
Jonghyun passed away,
something that i would never have thought about because he's still young and healthy
I felt the regret, pain and hurt watching his close friends and family mourn for his loss too
Watching him build his career from debut to where he got to created a special affection, but paths in life just lead people in different ways
Hopefully he has finally obtained the peace he has always been craving from this cruel world
Then the new housemate who was meant to move in on thursday neither showed up nor contacted us to inform us what was happening. Despite having already taken our house key...
Turned out he was in hospital.....fine
But he didn't bothered to let us know what was happening, didn't pay a single cent to keep his room, didn't bothered a damn thing and just left us hanging and wondering what's going on for days
And we were even nice enough to cover his rent until he moves in officially, so much for our generosity
Learnt the hard way never to pass someone the house key until they paid up
R invited me to join his family for christmas since i'll be alone at home
I was torn between staying home like the big homebody i am and making an effort to mingle with people
In the end i accepted his invitation and showed up to his family gathering with a bottle of wine
Luckily his family was friendly, andd basically stuffed me with a lot of food
There was charcoal roasted chicken, roasted cream potatoes, salad, pasta, ham
While there was home made pavlova and tiramisu for dessert
The pavlova was the bomb
I feel like eating that again T_T
Having 2 days off in a row makes it feel like a miniature holiday lol
It feels so weird
Then i went back to work again on boxing day....
I want to end this bad year with some nice food
Still wondering if i should get a sushi platter on sunday
Start 2018 the right way
