Welcome to a laptop battery specialist of the Hp laptop battery
It seems that August is the month when Cheap Android Tablets fight back the iPad, as after the GPad G10 and the Augen GenTouch 78, it’s time for Nationite MIDnite tablet (link to product page) with Android 2.2 to hit stores. Don’t jump from your chair, it’s still in preorder, but shipments are expected to start August 23rd.
The Nationite MIDnite tablets has a few things that distinguish it from the competition like the Android 2.2 version and the speedier 600 MHz Cortex A8 CPU (the same technology used in iPad’s A4 chip). Price is still low, at 220 dollars (shipping is FREE) and you do get a pretty solid tablet with an estimated battery with battery such as Hp Pavilion dv6500 battery , Hp Pavilion dv6600 battery , Hp Pavilion dv6900 battery , Hp Pavilion dv6100 battery , Hp Pavilion dv6300 battery , Hp Pavilion dv2600 battery , Hp 7F0994 battery , Hp HSTNN-IBON battery , Hp HSTNN-OB60 battery , Hp KU533AA battery , Hp HSTNN-Q45C battery , Hp PT06 battery life of 5-6 hours with WiFi On.
So let’s see in a short list the specs that make the cheap Nationite MIDnite tablet worth considering:
From the review you can see that the 600 MHz ARM Cortex A8 CPU does a great job of making the tablet feel speedy. Now, for the bad part, even if the list of supported video formats is quite large (MKV (H.264 HP)/RMVB/MPEG-4/FLV/MPEG-1/MPEG-2 up to 720p) the Nationite MIDnite has no HDMI output port, for playback on a large flat screen TV, but that’s not really a problem, as you can output videos from another device easily these days.
I must admit that I really like the Nationite MIDnite tablet and hope to test it soon. Maybe we finally have the cheap slate tablet we’re all dreaming of. Till then I’m waiting for your comments on this one. How do you feel about it?
I’m sure you haven’t heard of Gigabyte Booktop T1125N (even if we’ve covered a rumor a while ago), as I’ve just found a review about this 11.6 inch convertible tablet that’s already shipping in US and Europe. It’s like if Gigabyte has made everything possible to launch their tablet PC in secrecy. After reading the review I must admit I don’t understand Gigabyte’s position, as the Booktop T1125N is a very capable tablet PC which can be used as a desktop replacement without having to deal with performance issues of any kind. And the Gigabye T1125N was specially designed to work as a desktop station as it comes with a docking station and an external optical DVD drive, all in the bundled package.
It’s not the perfect convertible tablet, that’s for sure, but is a nice alternative to the HP TM2 which is a little big bigger at 12 inches, is a lot heavier and costs about the same, but comes without a docking station and an optical drive. But let’s dive in the Gigabyte T1125N review and see why you should even consider this tablet to other tablet PCs on market.
