こんばんは

eigoの勉強よりも、出発までの歯医者さんや書類の準備なんかの移動時間に、

eigo関係のテキストをパラパラ見てます。

きっちりやるには気合いがいるのです～

最近は、これ。

あー、何もeigo勉強したくないけど、何もみないのも暇だな。

なんて時に気軽に見れるので、持ち歩いてます。

前置詞（in, at, to, for., on, out, up, down, from, of, off., with, by,

after, within, against, before, over, about, behind, below) の使い方がイラストと英文のみで正確な

イメージをつかみ取ろう！というもの。

ぼーっとみてるだけですが、あ、、、間違って使ってたなっていうのが結構あったり、

イメージが全くつかみとれないなんてものも。

まだﾎﾞｰｯとみてるだけなので、あんまり身にはついてないんですが・・・・・。

ちゃんと勉強もしなきゃね。

今日は何か一つでも勉強してから寝ようっと。

久しぶりのブログです。

この間の、eigoの疑問点ようやくわかりました。

英語教師をしているお友達に、教えてもらいました。

やっぱり、先生はすごいですね～

一瞬で教えてくれました。

なんととっても単純。

なんか、私はとってもおバカですね。。。。

　So consumed were they in their FEAR that they heard no opening of doors....

　　これは倒置法。なので、Suprised am I とかもいけるそう。

　　①　I felt an instant change-I'm feeling a lot more enegetic, my appetite and mood have stabilized and

hopefully.

　　　②　Alas, I haven't had time to do a proper job search, the project management positions in my field are

scarce and frankly.

　　　①と②には続きがありました・・・・。なのでhopefully, ...... frankly.,......とそれ以下の文章に続くみたいです。　

　　　会話文と同じ要領でリズムが付くからこんな風に書いてたらしいです。

　続きの文は書きませんが、確かに、続きの文と考えるととってもナチュラル。

　　　それを勘違いして、こんな構文があるのかと思って、考えだして何週間・・・・

ま、解決してよかったです・・・・。

ようやく、次に進めますね。

オーストラリアへの出発が近いので、ゆっくり準備をし始めました。

なんと、ここに来て、歯が痛い～

大型連休が早く終わって欲しいと待ちきれない気持ちでした

最近の私、eigoなかなか進んでないんです・・・。

ひっかかったら文法を調べる方式なので、ひっかかってる部分が解決しないので進めない・・・・

こんなこともわからないの？？？って思っちゃったあなた。

教えてくれたら、もしくはヒントをくれたらとっても嬉しいです　

≪引っかかってる文≫

　　　これちょっと前にブログに書きましたね。

　　　倒置法にSo thatが含まれているのだと勝手に思ってるのですが、

　　　consumed were they in their FEAR they were consumed in their FEAR

ですよね。

受動態を強調しようとしたら、こんな風になるんでしょうか？

　　　そもそも、これは「強調のための倒置」ですか？

　　　全文を下の方に載せておきます　* * * (下を見てね）

　①　I felt an instant change-I'm feeling a lot more enegetic, my appetite and mood have stabilized and

hopefully.

　　　②　Alas, I haven't had time to do a proper job search, the project management positions in my field are

scarce and frankly.

二つとも、お仕事を探してるお友達からメールをもらいました。

　　　　なんで、andの後ろに副詞がきているのかということ

　　　　①も②も副詞が来てますよね。

　　　　これはどういうことなんでしょうか・・・・。

　　　　①have stabilized 現在完了形　hopefully 副詞

　　　　②scarece 形容詞　frankly 副詞　

　　　　ですよね（ちょっと怪しい

　　　　ジーニアスの "AND"のところには、同じものをつなぐとは書いてますが、

　　　　副詞をANDでつなぐとは書いてないですね。

　　　　ダーリンは Conjuctive Adverb だよというのですが、これを説明してくれるものが、ネットには載ってません　でした。

THE STORM

They were together in the House.
Just the two of them.

It was a cold, dark, stormy night. The storm had come quickly
and

each time the thunder boomed he watched her jump.

She looked across the room and admired his strong
appearance...and

wished that he would take her in his
arms, comfort her and protect her from the storm.


Suddenly, with a pop, the power went out... She screamed...

He raced to the sofa where she was cowering.

He didn't hesitate to pull her into his arms.

He knew this was a forbidden union and expected her to pull back.

He was surprised when she didn't resist but instead clung to him.

The storm raged on...

They knew it was wrong...

Their families would never understand... So consumed were
they in their FEAR that they heard no opening of doors...
just the faint click of a camera......
