Turn On The TV は、
1977年のロジャーのシングル「I Wanna Testify」のB面に収録された曲です。
残念な事に、Youtubeのクイーン公式チャンネルでは
この曲の動画がアップされていなかったので、
非公式の動画を貼らせてもらいました。
もう一つ残念な事に、一部歌詞が不明なところがあります…。
完全な歌詞を見つけられなかったので、ご理解ください！
個人的に気になった言葉が、
1976年にリリースされた、ロジャーの「Drowse」という曲の中で出てきた
「vertical hold（垂直同期）」と、今回の「horizontal hold（水平同期）」です。
この二つは何か関係があるのか、どんな意味が込められているのか、
いや、そもそも意味はあるのか…気になります。
ちなみにそもそも垂直同期、水平同期とは
テレビ画面に画像を写す際に必要な同期信号だそうです。
