Book 7 Lesson 4 (Part 2)
こんにちは。今回は，テレフォン・イングリッシュのブックレッスンの模様をお伝えします。
今週のテレフォン・イングリッシュの内容を決める時のこと・・・
☆*ﾟ ゜ﾟ「今日はどんなレッスンにしたい？」
マロン ： 「ブックレッスンがいい。」
☆*ﾟ ゜ﾟ「いいね。じゃあ，どこにしようか・・・」
マロン ： （テレフォン・イングリッシュ・ブックをパラパラめくりながら）「これにする。この間と同じにする。おもしろいし，簡単だから。」

☆*ﾟ ゜ﾟ「（簡単?!）・・・そう。練習用のCD聞く？」
マロン ： 「う～ん，どっちでもいい。」
☆*ﾟ ゜ﾟ「1回だけ聞いてみる？今日は絵本（ブック）だけ見ながら聞いてみたら？
テレフォン・イングリッシュ・ブックのほうは，見なくても大丈夫だと思うわよ。」
マロン ： 「うん!」」
絵本だけじっと見ながら，モデルレッスンをCDで聞いていたマロン，
'' What Should I Buy ? '' の曲が始まると，一緒に歌いだしました。モデルレッスンを聞き終わると・・・
マロン ： 「あといいよ。」
☆*ﾟ ゜ﾟ「もう電話してもいいの？」
マロン ： 「いいよ。」
早速，電話をかけ・・・先生にレッスン内容を伝えました。
先生 ： '' Hello ! This is Pablo. What's your name ? ''
マロン ： '' My name is マロン. ''
先生 ： '' Hi , マロン ! How are you ? ''
マロン ： '' I'm fine , thank you , and you ? ''
先生 ： '' I'm fine, too, thanks. Please turn to page 38 and 39 in your book . Look at the ice cream man. He should be selling ice cream, but he's not. What's he doing ? ''
マロン ： '' He's eating ice cream ! ''
先生 ： '' Oh no ! Look at the popcorn man. He should be selling popcorn but he's not. What's he doing ?
マロン ： '' He's paying Huey !
・・・・・略
先生 ： '' Oh no ! Look at the candy man. He should be selling candy, but he's not. What's he doing ?
マロン ： '' He's giving candy away !
先生 ： '' Uh-oh ! Look at Chip and Dale. They should be buying peanuts , but they're not . What are they doing ?
マロン ： '' They're taking peanuts. ''
先生 ： '' That's right. Now , Let's sing '' What Should I Buy ? ''
マロン ： '' OK. ''
♪♪♪ At the circus , the circus , the circus , the circus,
There are so many things to buy, to buy !

The ice cream man's selling ice cream.
The popcorn man's selling popcorn.
The balloon man is selling balloons, balloons.
The balloon man is selling balloons.
先生 ： '' Very good , マロン！ You did a good job ! Thank you for calling. Good-bye.
マロン ： '' Thank you. Good-bye. ''
Pablo先生からほめられて，うれしそうなマロンでした。
このレッスンの絵本には，現実にありえないことが描かれていて，それがマロンにはとてもおもしろく感じるようです。内容は，'' should ～'' がでてきたり，現在進行形がでてきたりと，大人の私から見るとあまり簡単そうに見えないのですが，慣れてくると，子どもは文字も見ずに先生の英語を難なく理解し，答えます。不思議なものですね。
