My husband and I took our baby girl to the Children's Castle in Shibuya. The nearest station to the place for us was JR Shibuya station.
There is a space where kids can participate in different activities on the third floor. Actually, I held my daughter and went down this oil drum style slide

Here is a picture of my husband who was going inside of the small oil drum to chase our baby

You can now see, though not clearly, my husband and our baby girl are inside of the oil drum. They are waving to me from the upper right window. After going through, they came down the slide. Daddy, you did a good job following the baby

In the picture above, can you see another oil drum behind the slide? Here is a picture of our baby girl walking inside of that drum. She is short enough to walk through without having to stoop.

She enjoyed playing the game on the wall with daddy.

She also enjoyed spinning the roulette wheel and did not want to move from here for a while.

"Let's play together," said a little girl to her (though it was only in my imagination, haha)

There is a space where kids have to take their shoes off (yes, we take our shoes off in the house in Japan!) and can play with different types of toys on the floor. Here is a picture of our baby girl playing in the toy kitchen. We have a child proof gate set up in the kitchen at home, so she cannot come in, though she always wants to. Thus, she was so excited to be playing in the kitchen space today.

She also walked around in this open space. My husband and I sat down on the chairs to take a break while watching her.

On a different floor, there were different types of instruments that kids can play.

Our baby girl was playing the drum, like her daddy :)

Since it's a rainy reason in Japan, they decorated the room with umbrellas. There were many more places and toys for kids to play with, but I could not take so many pictures...sorry!

FYI: There are different types of restaurant near this place, though you are welcome to bring your own lunch to eat inside too. Also, they have a space for younger babies, such as babies who are only a few months old, to play as well; as well as outside spaces for older kids to run around and play. Thus, a from a few months old and up to middle school aged kids can enjoy participating in the various activities here. The day we went there was a weekend, so it was not too crowded in the morning, but more people came in the late afternoon. I would recommend going there in the morning or on weekdays, if possible. Also, the fee for an adult was 500 yen (about $6.00) with free reentry; it was free for our baby girl this time.
