Bowling Triumph and Halloween Disappointment

今日は息子とお祭りに行って、ボウリングにも行きました。夕方は川崎市のハロウィンイベントへも足を運びました。一日の中でいちばん印象に残ったのはボウリングです。息子にとっては初めてのボウリングでしたが、ボールをまっすぐ投げてピンの真ん中に当てることができました。息子はにっこり笑って、とても楽しんでいました。初心者の子供はまっすぐ投げられないので、本当によくやったと思います。そのボウリング場は私も初めてで、家から一番近い場所にあります。こんな近くに新しい場所を見つけられてよかったです。息子がまた行きたいと言っているので、また行くかもしれません。ハロウィンのほうはうまくいきませんでした。息子はスパイダーマンのマスクをかぶって準備していたのに、川崎のハロウィンマップにあった店やレストランをいくつか回ったところ、ほとんど閉まっていました。お菓子もチョコレートも手に入りませんでした。疲れてしまったので、餃子を買って家に帰りました。
English Diary:
I took my son to a festival and bowling today, and in the evening we also headed to a Halloween event in Kawasaki. Out of everything we did, bowling left the biggest impression on me. It was my son's first time, but he managed to throw the ball straight and hit right in the middle of the pins. He smiled from ear to ear and had a great time. Most young beginners can't throw straight at all, so I really thought he did well. It was also my first time at that bowling alley — it turns out it's the closest one to our house. I was glad to discover a new place so nearby. My son said he wants to go again, so we might be back. The Halloween side of things didn't go well though. My son had his Spider-Man mask on and was all ready, but when we went around to the shops and restaurants listed on the Kawasaki Halloween map, almost all of them were closed. We couldn't get any candy or chocolate at all. We were tired by that point, so we just bought some gyoza and went home.
