荒川で釣り(前後しますが、こないだの土曜日です)。
Fishing in the Arakawa river, Saitama prefecture, last Saturday.
It showed higher turbidity than usual, due to influence of typhoon.
Here is the catch!
By the way, I was taught at university that Arakawa (荒川) could be translated in three ways as follows:
1) Arakawa river
2) Ara river
3) the Wild river
Which do you like?
Note that “Ara” means wild or rough in Japanese; I guess this river often flooded in history.
