Recently I’ve been so busy with my work that I’ve not had enough time to take care of myself after returning home.
I was thinking about how to save time cooking dinner and preparing lunch for the next day.
While browsing on Amazon, I happened to find a “silicone steamer”, which was promoted with the following descriptions:
1. It can make a main dish by itself
2. It can make one more side dish in a short time
3. It enables cooking methods such as boiling, steaming and grilling with the microwave
The 3rd description looked like exactly what I have been looking for, so instantly I clicked it to place an order. When the silicon steamer was delivered last week, I tried using it.
I cooked steamed dumplings and steamed salmon with onions and mushrooms.
The dumplings and salmon were originally frozen, but it took only 5 minutes each to microwave them.
It’s turned out to be so convenient to cook easily and quickly that I’m going on using it more frequently.
I’m also happy to save time washing pans and dishes.
This steamer should be a great helper for my life in the US.
