-- The man accused of driving his SUV in a suburban Milwaukee Christmas parade that killed six people and injured dozens more said Wednesday that he feels "demonized."
Darrell Brooks Jr. provided no details about a possible motive when he spoke to Fox News from the Waukesha County Jail.
"I just feel like I've been demonized," Brooks said, according to Fox.
According to a criminal complaint, Brooks drove his SUV into the parade in Waukesha on Nov. 21. Witnesses said he was turning and appeared to be deliberately trying to hit people. He was arrested minutes later as he stood on the porch of a nearby house and asked the owner to call a car for him.
Police said he had fled the scene of a domestic disturbance when he entered the parade, although officers were not pursuing him at the time. He is charged with six counts of first-degree intentional homicide.
