More than 1,000 protesters marched through Minneapolis on Saturday, seeking action after police issued a "do not knock" order in the shooting death of Amir Locke last week.
Rock's death is the latest in a series of controversial incidents involving confrontations between black people and police in Minnesota in recent years.
According to FOX 9 in Minneapolis, the latest shooting occurred early Wednesday during a police raid on a homicide in St. Paul, at an apartment. Another man who lived in the apartment threatened police during an arrest in 2018.
Police video of the raid showed that Lock, 22, had been sleeping on a couch wrapped in a blanket when officers entered the apartment and shot him dead within seconds. The video also shows Rock holding a gun.
