In President Biden's first year in office, more police officers were killed in the line of duty than in any year since 1995 -- driven, one law enforcement group says, by growing anti-police sentiment.

Fox News reported Sunday that 73 police officers were intentionally killed in the line of duty in 2021, a nearly 59 percent increase from 2020, when 46 officers were murdered.

"We see it as a combination of George Floyd protests -- riots, if you will; A general preference for less enforcement; Fewer prosecutions and less policing, "Jason Johnson, president of the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund and a 20-year police veteran, told Fox News.
