I go to see an ENT periodically to clean my ears. 

My right ear made a slightly funny noise because of earwax about a week ago, and it stopped. 

It just means earwax is somehow relocated so that it doesn't make noise by touching my eardrum. 

So I went to a nearby ENT this morning to find a lot of patients in the waiting room before 9 a.m.

I don't think any of those people were there to clean their ears. 

They must have some kind of more serious trouble.  

I was prepared to wait for half an hour or so, but it would have taken all morning, so I figured I should come back some other day. I will try visiting them right before the morning clinic hours end. 

Changing the plan, I visited my mother rather than just going back home. 

She was preparing her breakfast and was happy with an unexpected visit. 

I usually visit her in the afternoon. 

She has not broken her regular routine despite that she lives alone. 

I wonder if I could do the same. 

I doubt it. 

Thank the universe for a peaceful life with my husband and my mother.
