Since then, it remains closed. Kabuli Bagh was the first monument built by Babur in India to commemorate his victory over Lodhi Dynasty. The architecture of this mosque was imitated from the mosque of Fergana and Samarkand from where Babur came. It used to be a prominent mosque during the Mughal dynasty, but the British did not look after it that ignorance made this mosque fragile and most of its parts have been collapsed right now.
