Nahargarh Fort was built at the edge of the Aravalli hills, in the city of Jaipur Rajasthan. It was constructed in 1734 by the king of Jaipur “Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh” to protect and guard the city of Jaipur. The walls of Nahargarh fort were extended to the Jaighar fort and Amber fort. Nahargarh means “Adobe of Tigers” that’s why it is also recognized as Tiger fort. The fort’s name was originally Sudershahgarh but it becomes “Naharghar”.
