Starting yesterday, I am someone's senpai. Two new hires joined the company, one of them joined the team I'm in.

I talked to him a bit, and taught him some things. He still has a month of training to go, but part of his training is to do what is currently my main job, character design.

I finally got some feedback for my designs. One of them was no good, and I had to redo it. This was quite a blow to me, but I better get used to it. I really can't wait to see my work finally appearing in the game. 照れ

I was given another pretty big task to deal with. It's always so overwhelming at the start. As usual, I have a lot of studying to do first. It's quite fun though, so I'm happy about it.

In another few more months, the next batch of new NTU/NUS hires will be in. I will be senpai to even more people then. Well, no biggie, I'm confident I can guide my juniors well if I have to.

On the other hand, two of my batch mates who I am close with left my team. It seems like this is the reality of a game company. People get shifted around easily. I shouldn't get too close to anyone, if I don't want to get hurt. I had enough of that already.

This is off-topic, but today I had a bad dream about the Princess again. In the dream she was doing something that the her that I knew would never do. I haven't dreamt of her in a while, so this was very sudden and made me feel terrible. I woke up before the usual time, and couldn't get back to sleep again.

The lovely Princess of China... I hope everything is going well for her, all the way on the other side of the planet. I know for sure that she's definitely trying her best the way she always does. That part of her, was what made her such a wonderful girl in my eyes.
