水かけ祭りを前にしたこの時期、そこら中に黄色い花が飾ってあります。先日家族がこちらに来た時に嫁が「何の花？」と言っていたので調べてみました。「パダウ」という花で、水かけ祭りの時期に1日だけ咲く花ですって。とてもキレイで可愛らしい花です
さて、今日はこの曲。サントラ代表って言っても過言じゃないっす。

邦題は「フットルース ～メイン・テーマ」。Billboard誌で1984年3月から4月にかけて3週間、1位を記録しました。誰もがご存知、サントラ「Footloose」からのビッグヒットです。えっ
！？、たった3週間だったっけ？ なんか10週ぐらい1位になってたぐらいよく聴いた気がします・・・。
いやいやいや、この曲、すんごく売れてましたね。バカ売れです。ドラムで始まり、その背後でうっすらと聞こえる声、その後から追ってカットインしてくるワウワウ鳴るギター、いやぁ、今聴いてもシビれます。ほんとによく聴きました、これ。即、LPゲットでした。このLPからは他にも多数ヒット曲が出ましたよね。
PVはサントラにありがちな映画のシーンを使ったもの。PV制作費がほとんどかからないのでコスパもばっちりです。Kevin Beconが若い！好きな俳優さんす。踊れない方の地元の兄ちゃん、確かSean Pennの弟じゃなかったっけな？
で、そのKevin、こんなVideoも。こういう風におもろくやれるのがUSのいいところ。楽しそうで最高っす
80年代の彼、サントラのヒット曲ばかりが目立ってましたが、Loggins & Messinaで70年代に活躍してました。これも本当にいいす。ちょっと聴いてみて

We can see very pretty yellow flower at everywhere since Water Festival is going to start from next week. My wife asked me about this flower so I checked it. This flower is called Padauk and it bloom during Water Festival. This Paduk is the symbol of Water Festival.
Well, Let’s move to today’s song. It may be most famous song from Sound Track songs.
“ Kenny Loggins / Footloose “
This song got 3 weeks No.1 on Billboard Magazine from March to April of 1984. As you know, it was big hit from OST “Footloose”. Just 3 weeks?? I thought it kept No.1 10 weeks…
It was mega hit. We could listened to it in everywhere. It started with drum sound. After that, somebody’s whisper came, then wow wow guitar made me excite. So cool and impressive although listen to it now. I got this album immediately and listened over and over and over. Also other hits came from this album.
A lot of movie scene were used for this video. I like Kevin Becon and he was so young in this video. You can see Sean Penn’s little brother also. By the way, did you see Jimmy Fallon Tonight Show? So funny :-)
By the way, Kenny dropped many sound track hit song however he provided a lot of good songs as Loggins & Messina in 70’s. These songs are also good and will make you happy.
It’s master piece, try this song.
