ヤンゴンお土産事情。今日はカルチャーバレー。超有名な寺院・シュエダゴンパゴダの向かいにあるショッピンモールです。が、しかし。モールといえど、入ってるお店は超ローカルショップ、かつ人っ子一人いません・・・。儲かってんのか？
さて、今日はこの曲で行ってみましょう。個人的に84年の中で好きな曲のTop10に入ります。
この曲はBillboard誌で1984年9月に1週だけ1位を記録しました。彼の2ndソロアルバム「No Brakes」からのシングルです。ソロになる前はJourneyのJonathan Cainと一緒にBabiesってバンドに在籍（曲は聴いたことないけど）。でもって、後にスーパーバンド、Bad Englishを結成してました。
もうこの曲はJohnのちょいハスキーな声と寂しげなメロディにつきますな。本当に良い曲で、よーく聞きまくって、勝手に浸ってました
PVは街中を歩くJohnを覚えてるんですが、改めて見るとそのシーンはちょっとだけでした（笑）それに意外とドラマ仕立てだったのね。Alison Kraussと一緒に歌うこんなVideoも見つけました。これも良いっす。いい曲はいい曲なのです

This song got 1 week No.1 on Billboard Magazine in September of 1984. It came from his 2nd solo album “No Brakes”. Before becoming Solo artist, he formed “Babies” with Jonathan Cain of Journey. And also after few years later since this hit, He joined “Bad English”.
His husky and lonely voice was this song. Really good song, I listened over and over, again and again. He walked around the town with sad face.
After few decades years, he sang this song with Alison Krauss. This version is also awesome.
