ちょっと間が空きましたー。ヤンゴンはちょいちょい停電します。で、停電時、当然交差点の信号も消えちゃいます。すると大混乱を引き起こしそうなもんなんですが、ここはヤンゴン。信号消えてても車はフツーに交差点を行き来します。ある意味神業

この曲はBillboard誌で1984年4月に最高16位を記録してます。彼らの11th Album「The Works」からのヒットシングル。今振り返るとTop10に入ってなかったんだぁ、と思うくらいに記憶に残ってる曲っす

Radioへのオマージュを表した曲で、何と言ってもサビの部分が誰の耳にも残ってますよね。フレディのちょっと伸びた歌い方がとっても印象的っす。

PVは映画「メトロポリス」を使っていて、とてもレトロ感たっぷり。サビの部分で頭の上で手を叩くシーンはライブでもお馴染み。とっても印象にのこる部分すね。Freddieはさておき、RogerのカッコよさとBrianとJohnの頭のデカさが目立つPVなのでした

This song got No.16 on Billboard Magazine in April of 1984. It was the hit single from their 11th album “The Works”. This song is very famous, so I thought it was top 10 hit.

This song dedicated to Radio. Everybody remember the chorus part. Video was also impressive, it was made with the movie “Metropolis”, and it made us feel retro mood. Clapping the hand over head was icon of this song. When this song was played in their concert, every audience did like that.
