こんばんは。ヤンゴン在住・つっちゃんです。
ヤンゴンで生活していて、時々朝メシ食べれずに出勤することがあります。そんな時はオフィス近くのドーナッツ屋、「J’ Donuts」。どれもこれも超甘そうなのですが、いつもプレーン・ドーナッツ1つ購入して、オフィスでコーヒー淹れて朝飯にしてます。ちなみにドーナッツ1コ 500チャット（50円）なり。
さて、今日はこれ。彼女の素晴らしさが垣間見える曲。

この曲は1983年11月に最高23位を記録したスマッシュヒット。彼女らの1st Album「Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)」からのシングルカットです。もともとUKでの1st Singleとしてカットされたけど全く売れず。で、Sweet Dreamsが大ヒットした後に再カットして売れた曲です。
あたくし的には前作の「Sweet Dreams」よりも好きかな。ミステリアスな雰囲気が薄れて、もう少し聴きやすくなったように思います。Annieの声も高く低く、伸び伸びと歌っているように感じちゃいます。いい感じ
PVは・・・、う～ん、やっぱりちょっと暗め。Annieがマネキンのように見えます（化粧のせいかな）。で、彼女の髪、Sweet Dreams時よりちょっと伸びましたー。最後の彼女のロボットモノマネはご愛嬌
Annieのことばかりなので、ここでDaveについても。彼、とても優秀なProducerでもあります。敬愛するTom Pettyの「Don’t Come Around Here No More」にも出てきます。Mick JaggerやJoss StoneらとSuper Heavyってバンドも組んでました。でもって、ちなみにBananaramaのSiobhanの元旦那様。
Annieの伸びやかな声、まぁ、聴いてみてくださいな。

Sometimes I can not take a breakfast in Yangon. In this case, I usually go to donuts shop called “J’ Donuts”. Always I chose a plane one and have it with a cup of coffee in my office. Donut costs just only 500 kyat ($0.5).
Well, today’s song is this. Her voice was very beautiful.

This song got No.23 on Billboard Magazine in November of 1983. Single from their 1st album “Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)”.
I like better than previous single “Sweet Dreams”. Mysterious mood was almost gone, and it was more comfortable to listen. Annie sang spontaneous with beautiful voice.
Video still had mysterious atmosphere. Annie looked like a mannequin and her hair was little longer than before. Her robot acts was very interesting.
Regarding Dave, he is a good producer. He produced Tom Petty and appeared in Tom’s video, “Don’t Come Around Here No More”. And also he is guitar player and he formed Super Heavy with Mick Jagger and Joss Stone.
Beautiful Annie’s voice, try this song.
