ヤンゴンの電力事情について。以前に「停電多くね？」という話をしましたが、ここに住んでるとそれなりに知恵がつきます。停電時に備えて保冷剤を冷凍庫に入れておく。扉を開かない。中にはよく出し入れする飲み物などの専用冷蔵庫を導入する、って人もいます・・・
。
さて、今日の一曲はこれ。日本のお茶の間でもCMで有名な方々。
この曲はBillboard誌で1983年7月に1週だけ最高7位を記録しました。彼らの4th Album「The Rise & Fall」からのシングルカットです。
UKで流行っていたスカや2トーンをやっていたバンドです。この曲はあまりスカスカした曲じゃないけど、その特徴であるホーン、小気味良いリズム、でもって抑制の効いたボーカルが特徴の良い曲。大好きな一曲っす
。
PVはロンドン（？）の街並みが見れるUKらしいビデオ。彼らのファッションも当時のUKを思い起こさせますな。以前ご紹介したJoBoxersのPVに似てるかも。
彼ら、HONDAのCityって車のCMにも出てましたよね。一列に並んで体仰け反らして、「ホンダホンダホンダホンダ」って行進するやつ。1981年のCMだったと思うけど、当時かなりインパクトありやした。当時中1だったあたくしも、当然マネしてましたー
ホーンとピアノと少しのスカを感じて、まぁ、聴いてみてくださいな。

Well, today’s song is this. They appeared on Japanese TV CM.
“ Madness / Our House “
This song got 1 week No.7 on Billboard Magazine in July of 1983. This is single cut from their 4th album, “The Rise & Fall”.
They are the band who play Ska and 2 tone. This song did not have Ska flavor so much, but it was good song which had a horn sounds, good rhythm and stable vocal. I love this song :-)
Video was shot in UK, may be in London. Its scenery and their fashion is vey typical UK style. It is very similar to JoBoxers video I introduced before.
They appeared in CM of HONDA City in Japan. They marched and said “HONDA HONDA HONDA HONDA…”. It was in 1981, and gave a big impact.
