こんばんは。ヤンゴン在中・つっちゃんです。
ヤンゴン市内ではよくタクシーを使うのですが、重宝しているのがタクシーワード。テデ（まっすぐ）、ニャーベ（右）、ベーベ（左）。これさえ知ってれば大概大丈夫です。
さて、今日はこの曲。しっかりとギターが鳴っているかっこいいRockです。
「Journey / Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)」
この曲はBillboard誌で3月から4月にかけて6週間、最高8位を記録しました。彼らの8th Album「Frontiers」からのシングルカットです。
Neal Schonのギター、Jonathan Cainのキーボード、そしてハイトーンなSteve Perryのボーカルが特徴。とにかくギターが鳴っててカッコイイのです。一度聞いたら忘れられない出だしのキーボードからの重いギターリフに、当時一発でヤられました。あとSteveの声はいいですねぇ。ウマい。いまSteveの声を聴くと、Iron MaidenのBruce Dickinsonにそっくり！、と思うのは私だけ？？
ただねぇ、PVがイケてない。出だしからエアバンド状態
。Steveは袖なしTシャツだし。ザ・アカヌケナイズです・・・。曲はカッコイイのに・・・。残念

本当にカッコイイRockです。まぁ、聴いてみてくださいな。

I use a taxi a lot of time in Yangon, taxi word is very useful for me. “Tede” means straight, “Nyabe” means right, and “Bebe” means left. You can go anywhere if you know these words.
Well, today’s song is this. Guitar sounds makes good rock song.
“ Journey / Separate Ways (Worlds Apart) “
This song got 6 weeks No.8 on Billboard Magazine during March to April of 1983. It was single from their 8th album, “Frontiers”.
Neal Schon’s guitar, Johathan Cain’s keyboard and Steve Perry’s high tone vocal are impressive. You can not forget if you hear the keyboard sound and guitar sound at the beginning of this song. And also Steve was very very good singer. His voice was very similar to Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden.
However, video was not so good. They acted “Air-band”…
It was really cool rock song, try it.
