こんばんは。ヤンゴン在中・つっちゃんです。
以前ヤンゴンにも大阪王将があるお話をしましたが、天理ラーメンのお店もあります。なにやらミャンマー人が日本で修行して暖簾分けしたとか。嘘か誠か？ ただラーメンを食べる限り、いつも麺がのびきっちゃってるので、多分誠じゃないです
。
さて、今日はこの曲。アクロバチックなPVが印象的。
「Irene Cara / Flashdance...What A Feeling」
この曲はBillbaord誌で1983年5月から7月にかけて6週間、1位をゲットしました。ご存知、天井から水をかぶる映画、「Flashdance」からの大ヒット曲です。
いやぁ、懐かしい。エラく売れてましたね、この曲このアルバム。サントラからヒット曲連発系の走りになるんじゃないかな。とてもDanceableな曲です（当たり前か・・・）。あまりに売れてたので、当時中三男子のあたくしはあまりの売れっぷり加減にかなり食傷気味でしたな
。
PVは映画のシーンをつなぎ合わせたもので、Irene Caraは出てこないっす。出てくるのは主役のJennifer Beals。可愛いんだ、これが
。で、内容は前述の天井から水や、審査員前でジャンプ前転など、ホントにそんなことすんのか？、的なシーン満載です。
でもって、「審査員の前で踊ってるのはJenifferか？」、と当時話題になった覚えがあるけど、いま見るとどう見ても違うじゃん
。
久々にこの曲聴いてて、堀ちえみが出てたドラマ「スチュワーデス物語」で麻倉未稀が歌ってたの思い出しました。
良い子はジャンプ前転はしないで、まぁ、聴いてみてくださいな。

There i Gyoza restraunt called Osaka Ohsho in Yangon as I told before. And also Tenri Ramen is in Yangon. Myanmar staff got training in Japan, then he started to serve Tenri Ramen. I’m not sure it is true or not…. So I tried this ramen and I thought……, it’s not true…

This song got 6 weeks No.1 on Billboard Magazine during May to July of 1983. As you know, it was a title song of the pouring water movie, “Flashdance”.
This song played over and over on radio and TV. This was one of hit songs from soundtrack album, so I thought it was too much at that time…
Its video was made with scene of the movie. Irene Cara who was the singer of this song, did not appear in this video. You can see Jennifer Beals who acted in the movie. So cute she is…
At that time, I heard a rumor that the woman who danced in front of judges was not Jennifer. I think…, she must not be Jennifer :-(
