I didn't expect that I could get to try it
TODAY
At
NUA open campus....！(◎_◎;)
The workshop was damn hot because of a 24hr operating 1300 degree celcius kilm....(*｀へ´*)
The glass department instructor approached and asked if we would like to try..
It seems dangerous la.... But for fun, I tried...(⌒-⌒; )
Blew the glass into a ball, bent the glass which was in soft molten form with large twiser Cut the molten glass & pull it to form Fibre glass.... （・◇・）/~~~
After we were done, he was super nice enough to bring us around the ceramic, wood workshops, glass course studio and also introduce staffs to us..
The last time we went NUA, the workshops were already closed... He's also franked to say that graduated students usually become teacher, or enter a totally different career...
Only a small fraction works in glass related company...(T_T)
But I had to say, what they did seems very interesting...
Also did product rendering with Industrial Design student... Met that guy twice before and we have to say he's really very outstanding... （＾◇＾）
His skills are superb! Humble, quite good looking too... Even gotten a job in Suzuki Subaru before graduation!
Impressive guy ...
