Happy Birthday ^_^

Yesterday (July 1st) was a national holiday known as Canada Day, which is Canada's Birthday =)
There were a lot of festivals and celebrations going on! However, regretfully I did not participate in any daytime activities =(
I did go out at night though. To this place:

This is called "The Forks"
it is one of the main attractions in the city where I live, and most often celebrations happen here! =)
So last night I was there to watch the fireworks with my friends ^_^
it was soooo HOT and HUMID! just ridiculously HOT lol! There were sooo many people there, and everyone was just really sweaty lol it felt really gross...and it really was not an attractive sight at all... =P



This picture is of my French friend and I once again =) (lol see what I mean...point proven! we look pretty gross and dirty ne...=P )

However, one thing that was good to look at was the fireworks! =D













so pretty! watching the fireworks makes me feel really warm inside =) its a very heart warming feeling =)
Then after the fireworks, my friends and I went to another district in the downtown area called Osborne Village. It is an easy-going area =)
However...because everyone partied so hard there last night...I felt like I was walking through a RIOT lol!



the streets were soo messy...but I was happy to see everyone in such good spiritin celebrating Canada's birthday ^_^

I didn't get home till 3 am last night...the streets were still filled with people lol ... i woke up with a headache =S
but being with friends and celebrating was definitely worth my time =)

Toy Story 3 =D

Today I watched this movie with my sister's 2 kids =)
my niece is 5, and my nephew is 9 ^_^
therefore i felt that this movie was the perfect one to take both of them to =)

I really enjoyed the movie a lot! The ending did make me feel sad...but regardless it was a happy ending! =) Overall this movie was very funny and also very heart warming as well =)
Everyone, I do recommend you to go watch this movie as this movie is suitable for pretty much all ages! ^___^
Surprisingly...i watched the whole movie without falling asleep lol
hooray for me! =D

hehe so what I forgot to mention in my last post
was my trip to the USA lol
(don't ask how i forgot such a big event haha)
but anyways!
so 6 of my friends and I took a road trip to Minnesota state =) (which is about an 8 hour drive south of my province in Canada)
We first visited Albertville, which has a HUGE outlet district XD
(unfortunately I was too caught up in shopping and did not take any pictures hehe)
so I was able to buy a lot of clothes from there =)
our hotel that we stayed at was in Minneapolis city, which is also the city where The Mall of America is located.



The Mall of America is the biggest shopping mall in all of North America ^_^
so I consider myself pretty lucky to be so close to it =)
Of course in Minneapolis we shopped some more haha
and we also played in the amusement park inside of the mall

oh those dinosaurs by the way...are built completely out of LEGO bricks =)

Since we were only in Minneapolis for one weekend, there wasn't much else we could have done aside from shopping
However we did play in this water park =)



it is an indoor water park. supposedly the "biggest in USA"? it was fun =)

in closing...it was the people whom I was with who really "made the trip for me"
it was fun and very memorable only because i was able to share it with some of my wonderful friends hehe ^___^
so that is why i feel that it doesn't really matter where i go or what i do
as long as I am with the people i love and cherish i am happy =)

It's been quite some time since I actually "wrote" something on here ne =)
A lot has happened since the last time I blogged properly =)
lately I've been quite happy ^__^
super tired...but happy!
hehe just when I thought I was done with school...WRONG!
lol I will be studying for another four years -_-
*sigh......*
It will be four extremely tough years of schooling but it will be worth it because this is what i want to do =)
Being able to get in to study in this field truly is a big accomplishment for me =)
GANBARIMASU!
....however...that also means my plans of travelling to Asia might have to wait too =(
for the past month and a half I have been trying to simultaneously enjoy the summer weather with friends / family while studying to complete my second degree >.< school is tedious ne.....
ahaha but the amount of time I've been spending on Pigg lately is becoming ridiculous lol
but again... to me it is worth it because the individuals who I talk with on there really do brighten up my day ^__^ thank you to everyone for chatting with me ^_^
I've recently realized how SHY I can really be lol
how do i overcome this? =(
hehe I've been trying to webcam using skype to overcome my lack of confidence lol...don't know howi'm doing at it though =P
I'll let YOU be the judge of that! ^_~
