.....Woke up this morning with a POUNDING HEADACHE! (ﾉ_･｡)
...Headache actually stuck with me all day =(
Anyway last night I had a "Girl's Night" with some of my girlfriends =) it was nice because we were able to catch up on some things in life of course NO BOYS were allowed hehe I don't know how men feel, but to me these sorts of things are necessary from time to time =)
After dinner, we took a walk in Downtown Winnipeg it really WAS NOT a good idea as it's super dangerous in that area at night especially since it was just us GIRLS walking by ourselves... (´＿｀｡) When I think about it now, I can't believe we actually did that...I guess we felt daring last night, so we did it anyway =P I really need to learn to be more careful....... (o-_-o)

Hi! Today I went on a one-day road trip to the USA with two of my friends =) This time, I went to North Dakota State, and the city I went to is called Grand Forks. It is only a 2 and a half hour drive south from my city in Canada
We listened to: Eminem - Recovery Gorillaz - Plastic Beach a lot during this trip (and of course with a mix of everything else =P) lol these two albums completely contrast each other but still I enjoy them both very much =)
So as you can see from the pictures of us on the highway, where I live, the land is REALLY FLAT lol there are absolutely no mountains...not even hills =P I live in the province of Manitoba, and it is one of the prairie provinces of Canada. My province specializes in growing wheat =)
This here is a picture of the Canadian-American border! I don't know why but I always feel nervous when we approach here...even though I KNOW I have nothing to feel nervous about lol but regardless, during our travel to the states and back, we crossed the border without any problems! yea! =D
I had lunch at this restaurant called "Space Aliens"? we don't have this restaurant in my city..and that's a good thing lol
because if we did have this restaurant, I'm pretty sure I would easily put on a lot of pounds from eating their food hahaha This was my first time seeing a "taco stuffed potato" =P it was HUGE...
so in Grand Forks, I went shopping in "Columbia Mall"
This mall is really small...definitely a lot smaller than the smallest mall we have in my city lol but it was still a fun experience =) hmm...maybe I'm just a country bumpkin, but it was also my first time seeing a vending machine for cosmetic products? lol
is this common in other cities??? =P
the trip home was a little scary because it rained a lot... I was scared lol

lol how romantic... the pouring rain, and me and my chocolates hahahaha we are definitely inseparable! =P

is my favorite item that I picked up from this trip =D what do you think? I don't normally wear graphic shirts, but for some reason, this one really intrigued me! When I walked by it in the store, I was really drawn towards it. The designer and artist of this shirt really did an excellent job in expressing the emotions associated with this shirt don't you think? At the very first moment that I saw this shirt, I decided that I had to make it MINE lol I am looking forward to wearing it =)
I am soooo tired right now My eyelids are so heavy >_< ehehe I know you think I should rest up more =) and..I know I told you I would take things easier ^_~ so...I will start behaving myself like a good girl as of NOW lol おやすみ! ^__^
Last night I was able to spend some time with my friends at the bar =) ...I really don't like the bar lol hehe but even still, I had a great time! ^_^ here are some photos of myself and my friends =)
I chose to put up that first picture because I look least tired =P I realized I look like a raccoon in all of my pictures >_< (lol even this picture isn't any better...but it will do =) ) I really need to sleep more... knowing that I had work this morning, I still stayed out late last night -__- and now...I pay the price of not resting when I had the chance -__- one thing I managed to do properly last night was staying ALCOHOL FREE! even despite all the peer pressure, I did not drink =D * NO MEANS NO * =) haha it took a lot of will power, but somehow I did it =P anyhow! My goal for now is to rest up a bit more I feel that I might be starting to catch a cold... =( so I need to prevent this from getting worse... bye bye for now!
lol that is exactly how I feel right now... lately I haven't been feeling very motivated to do anything perhaps it's becoming too hot! which naturally makes people a little more lazy ne... depressed? too much school? lol I don't know what this feeling is...but it just does not feel too good.. I think I want to get away! I want some thrill and excitement in my life lol

So! I have been putting some serious thought into this lately lol tell me what you think! Because I have another FOUR years of schooling remaining, I've been thinking that in between my studies (during the summer), perhaps I should pursue my goal of travelling to Asia =) hehe one of my goals that I had originally planned for myself was to go to Asia, and teach English / do something that will keep me there for a while... I've always been very interested in Japan =) and so...I don't want to experience Japan as a tourist...I really want to experience a real Japan =) It's always been something that I wanted to do...however school was always in the way of it all... BUT! Because I recently achieved my educational goal of being accepted into my desired field of study, I figured it is time that I put my plan into action! =D lol what do you think? Of course..although I am feeling very hyped about it now...it is still just a mere thought as it will have to wait at least 2 years =( yes.......minimum of 2 years...so depressed again........ lol
