「１００本のボールペン」
こんにちは。わくわくマエストロ RINです。
以下の文面は、つい先日知り合った
エッセイスト・詩人の
草野光恵さんからの

あなたが送ったボールペンで
エジプトの人々に笑顔が生まれる
ことを想像してみてください
国際協力として
あなたの心をお待ちしています
2010年2月に発足したプロジェクトです
・・・
エジプトに行かれたことがありますか?
行かれたことのある人でしたら、
もしかしたら、気がついたかもしれません。
・・・
エジプトの人々は、
日本人が持っているボールペンを、
心の底から欲しがっています。
・・・
エジプトは、
今の日本と較べれば、暮らしは貧しく、
子供から老人までもが、
懸命に働いても苦しい生活です。
町を歩けば
「One.Dollar One.Dollar」「千円
、千円」
と言って、
小物や置物、布などを売りにくるエジプトの人
々ばかり。
・・・
そんな押し売りのような、半ば強引な彼らに、
うんざりしてしまった人もいることでしょう。
・・・
彼らにも生活がありますからね。
でも、ちょっと立ち止まって、
商売とは別のことを話せば、
売り物を下に置いて、
屈託のない笑顔で話をしてくる彼らなんです。
・・・
エジプトはカイロを中心に、
一見豊かそうにみえる国ですが、
まだまだ後進国であり、
人々は一日中一生懸命働いて暮らしています。
・・・
貧富の差は歴然としており、
飢えを感じている人々がいることも確かです。
・・・
それなのになぜボールペン?
と、思われる方もいらっしゃるかもしれません。
・・・
１本のボールペンでエジプトの人々に笑顔が生まれること
をを、
肌で知っているからです。
私たち日本人には、あり余るボールペンであっても、
エジプトの人々には、
たった１本のボールペンが大きな豊かさを与えてくれます
。
・・・
１本のボールペンで、
エジプトの子供から大人に至るまでの人々の顔に、
大きな大きな笑顔が生まれます。
・・・
ボールペンを届けたいけど、どうすればいいの?

People in Egypt
I want the ballpoint that the Japanese has from the bottom of one's hearts.

If Egypt compares it with Japan today,
the living is hard life
even if everyone from the child to the elderly person works poorly hard.
If you walk in the town
｢One.Dollar One.Dollar｣
"1000 yen and 1000 yen"
It says, and only people in Egypt that comes : small articles,
the ornament, and the cloth, etc. to sales.

There is a person like such a high-pressure selling
who is partly disgusted at them forcible, too.
･･･
They also have life.
However, they are men by the underlay of the article
for sale if it halts for a moment, and it speaks besides business,
and the talk by a smile not careworn.

The underdeveloped country still though Egypt
is a country that seemingly looks rich centering on the heating pad,
and people work hard all day long and live.
･･･
The rich-poor gap descends obviously.
It is also certain that there are people who feel starvation.
･･･
Why the ballpoint yet?Being seemed might also come.
･･･
It is because it knows the smile arises to people in Egypt in one ballpoint.
Even if it is a ballpoint that is and remains,
richness with a big only one ballpoint is given to people in Egypt we for Japanese.

A big big smile arises in the face of people from the child in Egypt to the adult.
