It's been one year since I seriously started marathon.
I'm in PhD course of Chemistry and there is a big international conference
of chemistry every five years in HAWAII!
The conference is held in mid December so that it's not bad to arrive at Honolulu
bit earlier than conference to... run HONOLULU MARATHON!
I decided to run the race in April, then started everyday practice.
The town I live in is quite nice for outdoor lovers.
A famous, beautiful and enormous lake is surrounding south and east side of the town,
and flat straight road is continuing to somewhere beyond the horizon.
We have a new well-equipped university gym too, in which dozens of
treadmills are available from early morning to midnight everyday.
Anyways I started enjoying running from that spring 2010.
I knew running a full-marathon is really tough, and it's not a good idea
to run full without any experience.
So I ran Toronto waterfront marathon, actually I joined a half race though.
My first official race was OK. I could learn many things, such as how you should
control your race pace, what you should pay attention to while you are running,
and how wonderful running across the goal line is!
