Welcome to a laptop battery specialist of the dell laptop battery
The company has taken this opportunity to introduce some new designs as well. There’s the new Inspiron 14z Ultrabook and also the Latitude E6430s with up to 32.7 hours battery life apparently! These are both 14 inch models, which sit a bit awkwardly between the 13 and 15 inch categories.
The Inspiron 14z is inspired by the XPS 13 — Dell’s first ultrabook offering that is clad in aluminum and carbon fiber. Since Intel has updated the rules for Ultrabooks using Ivy Bridge, Dell’s new 14inch Inspiron is able to afford some more weight and thickness because it is larger than 13.3 inch. The minimum weight of this model is 4.12pounds and the minimum thickness is 0.83inch (~21mm). It will apparently be priced at $499.99 against the $999.99 for the XPS 13 ultrabook.
Other than the Inspiron 14z, Dell also released a new business laptop in the Latitude line. The Latitude E6430s is part of an entire line of business laptops from Dell that start from 12.5 inches and go up to 15.6inches. The E6430s as a 14inxh display with a matte finish for reducing glares. It has a thick and heavy chassis, weighing in at 6 pounds. It has a fall sensor, like most modern laptops do for their harddrives and it comes with StrikeZeon shock absoprtion technlogy for withstanding rough usage. It also comes with Intel Vpro support. The humongous battery such as Dell BATDW00L Battery , Dell 1X793 Battery , Dell BAT1194 Battery , Dell Precision M20 Battery , dell F5635 battery , dell YF976 battery , dell C5974 battery , dell U4873 battery , Dell Inspiron XPS M170 Battery , Dell Inspiron XPS M1710 Battery life claim of up to “32.7 hours” is only possible when extra batteries are bought, which come in various shapes and sizes. You can fit a 3 cell battery in to the modular bay and then there’s a slot for a 9cell battery to join in.
This Dell laptop is quite tough and built to last but the company has something even stronger. Called the Latitude E6430 ATG, this is a ruggedized laptop meant for “Outdoor Productivity”. This is a MIL-STD-810G and IP5x tested device, according to Dell and it is also supposed to withstand a fall from a height of 30inches or 2.5 feet.
There are other models also in the Pipeline from Dell, including devices running the upcoming Windows 8 platform. These would no doubt inlcude a variety of ultrabooks, convertibles and tablets. Dell however is being very discrete about it and has not been showing off any such things from its labs. Computex 2012, where every other company showed of concepts and prototypes meant for Windows 8, Dell only showed off the Inspiron 14z and and 13z Ultrabooks.
Dell also showed off a huge Alienware laptop that was touted as the world’s most powerful laptop for gamers. Called the M18X, it is a behemoth of a machine that provides a sharp contrast to the lightweight and razor thin bunch of Ultrabooks on the side. With a minimum weight of 5.5Kilograms (~12.1pounds), this laptop is clearly meant to be a beast at performance and care about nothing else. And it makes the Inspiron 14z positively anorexic beside it. It is officially priced at $4,699.
