Google's Android Ice Cream Sandwich release is slowly trickling out to devices around the world -- and today, HTC has promised to send the upgrade to three more of its phones.
According to a message posted to HTC's Facebook page, the HTC Incredible S, HTC Desire S and HTC Desire HD are now officially confirmed to be in line for Android 4.0 upgrades. HTC says the devices will receive the software "later this year," along with the previously announced HTC Rezound, HTC Vivid, HTC Amaze 4G, HTC EVO 3D, and HTC EVO Design 4G.
In addition to the new devices, HTC has given specific upgrade timing info for a few of its other handsets. HTC says its Sensation, Sensation 4G, and Sensation XE phones will all get Ice Cream Sandwich by the end of March. The Sensation XL with battery such as Apple PowerBook G4 15 inch Battery , Apple A1012 Battery , Apple M8511 Battery , Apple M8244 Battery , Apple A1079 Battery , Apple A1078 Battery , Apple A1148 Battery , Apple M6091 Battery , meanwhile, will see its ICS upgrade "soon there after."

That $1000 $500 64GB SSD drive will hopefully be updated to an 80Gb (Intel) - 128Gb (Samsung, others) variety. The $500 price cuts about halfway though the cycle helped make it more palatable...but it is still a hefty price to pay for a technology that isn't bearing as many fruits in the performance/power area as originally thought. Snow Leopard might be able to take better advantage of SSDs.
6.Docks. Not much has happened in this area - I guess the idea of a dock is a legacy one...Perhaps I was inspired by Apple's patent on a iMac type dock.
