Dell Marketing Spotlights Almost 24

Welcome to a laptop battery specialist of the dell laptop battery

The flier included in the local paper shows Dell’s new push into the nearly 24-hour battery life game. For a reasonable $879 (after $265 instant savings), you can type all day and close to all night with the new Latitude E6400. While hearing of the E6400′s release isn’t new, Dell’s approach towards 24-hour battery life seems to be rivaling that of HP. Competition into the realm of all day computing is a good thing as prices will ultimately begin to fall and battery life technology will continue to improve.

The race for all day computing is getting a little longer and personal as HP responds to Dell’s 19-hour battery like Dell RD859 Battery , Dell PR002 Battery , Dell UD260 Battery , Dell PD942 Battery , Dell Latitude 131L Battery , Dell 8F871 Battery , Dell 2G218 Battery , Dell Winbook N4 Battery , Dell F0590A01 Battery , Dell 7T670 Battery life claim. According to their official 24-hour battery life website, HP has publicly proclaimed itself champion of achieving all-day computing. HP, the only top notebook manufacturer to not have a battery recall in 2006 and 2007, proudly claims that their EliteBook 6930p outlasts the Latitude E6400 by up to five hours.

HP will offer the EliteBook 6930p this fall as a special configuration including an 80 GB SSD, LED Display, and Ultra Capacity Battery for $1,816. The original power source is actually a 6 cell battery and the additional Ultra Capacity Battery provides enough juice to keep at it for a full 24 hours. HP has also included a handy chart that compares the 6930p with standard HD, 6930p with SSD, and E6400 with SSD. Another chart shows all of the battery life options of HP’s business series notebooks.
